Meet Douglas

I am a seasoned criminal defense attorney and Partner at Deandra Grant Law based in Dallas, Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Edward's University in 2006 and subsequently obtained my Juris Doctor from Saint Mary's University School of Law in 2010.

Before embarking on my legal career, I served in the United States Army. My last duty station was Fort Cavazos, previously Fort Hood, which brought me to Texas in the late 90s.

In 2017, I made Garland my home, and over the years, this vibrant community has truly become a place where I am deeply invested. Since then, I have witnessed firsthand the changes and challenges facing our city. As our community continues to grow and evolve, it's clear that we need responsible leadership that responds to the needs of our changing neighborhoods. I am committed to ensuring that District 3 remains a place where families can thrive, where businesses can flourish, and where every resident feels heard and valued. It is time for proactive leadership that listens to the needs of our residents and works towards a brighter future for all.
